Simphonē Datalink Unit (DLU)
Featuring a built-in Iridium Satcom transceiver, the Simphonē DLU works with Simphonē OpenCabin airborne telecommunications systems (and others) to let flight crews communicate with the ground or other aircraft without impacting cabin communications.
Compatible with all operational and planned ACARS® and AFIS®datalink systems, the compact Simphonē DLU requires no cooling, no software setup, and installs with a single connector. The smallest such standalone datalink solution available, the affordable Simphonē DLU uses its own Iridium antenna, thus resembling an ARINC 618-compliant Satcom Data Unit (SDU).
