Simphonē Fax Adapter Unit

The Simphonē fax adapter unit (FAU) is a simple, reliable airborne faxing solution that lets operators send and receive faxes worldwide without third-party equipment or software. Compatible with all Group III fax machines, the Simphonē FAU uses 'store and forward' technology that conveniently holds faxes if the aircraft's fax line is in use or the fax machine is off, relaying the data when the line is available. The compact FAU, which uses the Iridium network for fax transmissions, requires no cooling and installs with a single connector.

Using the Iridium fax gateway to make faxing more convenient, the FAU's design includes 'send' and 'receive' indicators, and it works seamlessly with Satcom Direct's popular Global One Number service.

Simphonē Analog Interface Unit

The Simphonē analog interface unit (AIU) enables operators of Gulfstream III/IV, Falcon 900 and other such aircraft to extend the useful life of their legacy Satcoms and cabin paging systems.

The only available update option for such older Satcoms as the Honeywell MCS-3000, the Simphonē AIU connects existing Satcoms to state-of-the-art all-digital telephones like the Simphonē airborne telecommunications system. This allows operators to manage all communications through their easy-to-use Simphonē handsets.
